Nutritionist / Who we are

Laura Clark

Dietitian and Sports Nutritionist

I am a dietitian passionate about nutrition and health and dedicated to making it tailored to your individual nutritional needs. Dietitians are uniquely trained to take the most up to date public health and scientific research on food, health and disease and translate this into practical guidance to enable you to make informed food and lifestyle choices.

Since completing my degree at Surrey University in 2001 I have worked in a variety of positions within the health service in the UK and abroad. My private practice, LEC Nutrition was established in 2005. I also enjoy being a media spokesperson for the British Dietetic Association and my work includes contributing to mainstream press, ITV’s ‘The Biggest Loser’, BBC Breakfast and the up and coming BBC1 series ‘Weight for Love’.

With food and health constantly in the media spotlight, it can often feel a challenge to know what is best for you. I have over 14 years of experience and understand that everyone’s needs are different. Whether you require expert nutritional information or a more supportive, skills- based approach to changing your behaviour; a dietetic consultation with me can help.

I look forward to potentially working with you. My general areas of expertise are listed below but whether your goals be related to health, lifestyle or performance, please get in touch.
